Speaker 1

Ama Agyapong

'That Inclusion Lady,' is the CEO of Inclusion Enterprises

Ama Agyapong, also known as 'That Inclusion Lady,' is the CEO of Inclusion Enterprises. She is a Speaker, certified EEOC investigator, and talented senior-level consultant with 15 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources, strategic planning, talent development, employee engagement, and culture change management. With an MBA in Global Management, she has implemented functional, inclusive workplace strategies in partnership with key stakeholders focused on representation, retention, and engagement. Ama works with global and domestic Fortune 500 companies, mid-size companies, non-profits, and universities. Ama is a workplace culture subject matter expert passionate about talent development through cultural competence and giving & receiving feedback. Ama has shared her knowledge with organizations like the National Legal Aide Defender Association (NLADA), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the National Associations for African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR), The Privilege Institute (TPI), and numerous corporations, nonprofits, and universities.

Sheree Knowles

CEO, Founder of H3C & HRKS

Sheree Knowles, SPHR, CPM is a talented executive with over three decades of HR leadership and project management experience. She is the Founder of two human capital and talent management firms, 8(a) and DBE certified Human Capital Consulting Consortium (H3C) and HR Knowledge Source (HRKS). HRKS was recognized as one of the Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year for three consecutive years and the 2022 Minority-Owned Business of the Year in Cobb County, GA. HRKS has been featured in the Atlanta Business Chronicle as well as in a televised edition of Inside The Blueprint. Sheree has also been featured in Celebrity Boss Magazine. Prior to founding HRKS and H3C, Sheree held several highly visible senior-level HR positions, for companies with regional and national geographic footprints, including VP of HR for a $1B+ professional services firm. Her vast experience includes project management as well as leading centralized and matrixed teams in the following areas: talent acquisition; workplace civility; diversity, equity and inclusion; learning and development; talent management; performance management; employment investigations; compliance; organizational design & development; employee engagement; human resources optimization. One of Sheree’s greatest joys is mentoring and guiding upcoming HR leaders. She has helped shape the career of hundreds of HR leaders. She developed and has facilitated a mastermind course called “HR Business Partnerships – What It Really Means in Today’s Workforce”. She is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB, BoldHaus Playmaker, Ascend Small Business Executive, and the Cobb Chamber Leadership Cobb programs. Sheree is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Sheree is incredibly proud of HRKS Cares, the company’s community outreach platform, which includes an annual college scholarship given to a business school student at her alma mater, the University of Dayton. Sheree sits on multiple Boards including the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, the University of Dayton School of Business, the Strand Theatre and LiveSafe Resources. She also volunteers at her church and oversees their entrepreneurial classes.

Speaker 3

Marty Martenson

Managing Partner & Attorney at Martenson, Hasbrouck & Simon LLP

Over the last 30+ years, Marty has worked diligently to achieve outstanding results when representing management in a variety of capacities throughout the United States. Whether in the courtroom defending claims of discrimination, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, or advising clients as to the labor and/or employment landscape, he has amassed a high level of experience, leadership, and insight. Marty is also extremely proud of his Firm’s growth since its inception in 2000. With six offices in five states, the Firm’s legal talent has grown exponentially. Marty enjoys speaking to various groups throughout the country and has received numerous accolades for his labor and employment work, including his recent induction into the National College of Labor and Management Lawyers. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Marist School in Atlanta. In his college days, you could find Marty playing football for the Wolfpack at NC State. Since that time, leather helmets have been replaced with far more protective headgear. Areas of practice include Employment Litigation, Labor Law, Government Contracts, Affirmative Action, and Compliance. His education encompasses a J.D. from Mercer Law School, cum laude and a B.S. from North Carolina State University.

    2025 GCHR ANNUAL CONFERENCE

    GCHR is pleased to announce the preliminary details about the 2025 Conference, which will return to the Hyatt Regency in Savannah, Georgia.

    This year’s conference is shaping up as the place to be for all things human resources management—and then some!  Although the conference agenda is being finalized at this time, there will be topics for all attendees’ needs and interests.

    The theme for this year’s conference is: Bridging Tradition & Transformation in HR: Inspire, Integrate, Innovate!

    The dates for the conference are September 10 - 12, with special events occurring throughout the conference such as the HR Awards Ceremony, Community Outreach Events, and much more.

    Note:  Don’t forget to include 9/9/25 as your travel day to the conference.

    Yes, there will be a Thursday evening event unlike others in the past that you will not want to miss.  Stay tuned for more details but go ahead and get ready to put your boots on the ground.

Cancellation requests may be faxed to (404) 393-1081.”

    Registrations received without payment made by July 14, 2025, will be required to pay the full conference registration fee at time of registration.

    To enhance the overall GCHR 2024 Conference experience, GHCR may choose to share attendee contact information with participating vendors, exhibitors, presenters, etc.
