9amHealth’s weight management program is now available to State of Benefits Members (SHBP) members and their family members who are 18 years and older and meet the clinical criteria.

The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) and the State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP) partnered with 9amHealth to offer personalized care for weight-related conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.

With 9amHealth, your care plan is made just for you and it may include:

●     Access to weight health experts

●     Prescription medications

●     Lab tests

●     At-home devices

●     Nutrition and fitness coaching

●     Support for mental health and referrals

Participants must be 18 years or older and meet the clinical criteria to join the program. Some weight loss medications may need prior approval from a 9amHealth provider. 9amHealth is offered at no additional cost. There may be copays and cost-shares for medications, lab tests, and medical devices.
