Eligibility for Regular membership is extended to employees serving in a technical, professional, supervisory or executive capacity in human resource administration in all state departments, agencies, commissions, authorities, councils or boards as well as local, county and city government HR professionals. The Council accepts for membership only those whose work duties involve a substantial majority of time spent in or having accountability for a human resource work function as defined by the Human Resources Certification Institute (www.hrci.org). The Council does offer membership levels for employees whose regular work duties support human resource functions, retirees from human resource positions, and members of the community with an interest in human resources.  The Annual Membership covers one calendar year, from January 1st to December 31st. Membership is due for renewal immediately upon the 1st of the next calendar year. The cost of membership is $35.00 until March 31, 2025. Starting on April 1, 2025, the price will increase to $50.00. |
Once the Executive Committee has approved membership, new members will be invoiced with remittance due within 30 days for membership to be activated. Membership fees are accepted via AffiniPay located on the GCHR website or in the form of check or money order payable to GCHR, mailed to:
